Description
Monaco (Azulcar #22 (Blue Sherb × Runtz) × Lemon Cherry)
Loud blue candy
Monaco takes Azulcar #22 (Blue Sherb × Runtz) and turns up the candy with Lemon Cherry—a loud candy-blue nose the market wants. It runs medium–tall with high stretch on an upright frame; manage height and you’re rewarded with chunky spear colas. Color lands blue/purple with some green depending on the room; resin trends sandy.
Grow note: this one stretches hard and loads on weight. If you let it run too tall, you’ll be stacking trellis layer after trellis layer—it can turn into a fourth-layer situation with the canopy leaning. Think Lemon Cherry / Runtz-style architecture, but heavier yields—the plant can out-muscle its own support if you don’t stay on top of height.
It became a favorite fast. Global Genetics ran a Monaco pheno hunt in Los Angeles and found “Blue Jam,” a cut that’s now being run across the U.S., with reports of ~3–4 lb/light and a true blue-jam candy nose. Big moment for us—Jungle Boys ran that cut as BLAM. Seeing BLAM on their menu was a dream; some batches have tested 32%+ (labs vary).
Monaco is a grower’s plant and a smoker’s plant—it runs, it yields, and it hits. Expect a potent, heady blue-candy experience.
